東京、大阪、京都、神戸、名古屋、北海道、沖縄などの著名な観光名所で数々のバズリ現象を発生させている照明デザイン＆演出照明チームのAXIZ Light（アクシーズライト）が手掛ける”京の七夕in Uji 2025’” 京の七夕開催以来初となる天空に描く”天空の七夕”や浮島十三重塔ライトアップなど数々の話題スポットを創出し、過去最高の来場者数を記録
AXIZ Light, a lighting design and production lighting team that has generated numerous buzz at famous tourist spots in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nagoya, Hokkaido, Okinawa, and other locations, created “Kyoto Tanabata in Uji 2025,” which produced many話題 spots such as the “Tanabata in the Sky,” the first time since the Kyoto Tanabata Festival was held, and the illumination of the floating thirteen-story pagoda, and recorded the highest number of visitors ever.

天の川を隔てた彦星と織姫が一年に一度、7月7日の夕べに出会うという「七夕の伝説」。中国では織姫星にあやかり、裁縫や書などの上達を星に願う「乞巧奠（きっこうてん）」が行われていました。日本には奈良時代に伝わり、機を織り租霊に捧げる「棚機（たなばた）」というお盆の行事と融合したものが、日本における「七夕の起源」と伝えられております。
The”Tanabata Legend” says that Hikoboshi and Orihime, who are separated by the Milky Way, meet once a year on the evening of July 7th. In China, “Kikkoten” was held, in which people prayed to the stars for improvement in sewing and
calligraphy, based on the star Orihime. It was introduced to Japan during the Nara period, and is said to be the origin of Tanabata in Japan, which was a fusion of this with the Obon event “Tanabata,” in which weaving looms are offered
to the spirits of the deceased.

Uji City is a city with many important historical events. We will hold a Milky Way of Light event that combines the charm of Uji City, history such as Michinaga Fujiwara and Murasaki Shikibu, with the latest fully digitalized systems!
The lights will allow you to look back on history reminiscent of the Heian period when Michinaga Fujiwara was born, and you will be able to feel the era in which Michinaga Fujiwara and Murasaki Shikibu lived just by walking through

京の七夕 in Ujiの見どころ
（1）天空演出“天の川の出会い”
先進の天空演出サーチライトを用いた“織姫と彦星”の出会いを宇治川上空で開催！雲まで届く閃光が30分間に一度、約10分間宇治の天空で交わる壮大な光の天空演出！銀河に流れる天の川に光で願いを届ける一年に一度の特別な日を演出！ここ宇治でしか見られない“京の七夕”を宇治川で開催いたします！An encounter between Orihime and Hikoboshi will be held above the Uji River using advanced skylight production searchlights! A spectacular skylight production where flashes of light that reach the clouds meet in the sky over Uji for about 10 minutes once every 30 minutes! A special day once a year where wishes are sent through light to the Milky Way that flows through the galaxy! A “Kyoto Tanabata” that can only be seen here in Uji will be held at the Uji River!
（2）浮島十三重塔ライトアップ
“京の七夕 in Ujiの短冊の願いは天空へ成就する”10ｍを超える巨大な笹に願いを！旧暦7月7日にちなみ、77個の京の七夕特製竹灯り、グラスランタン、キャンドルライトが巨大な笹を彩り、浮島十三重塔と両翼を成し、府立宇治公園が主役になります！京都各所で配布される特製うちわにも“京の七夕 in Uji”イベント概要を掲載！
（3）高さ約10ｍを超える“巨大な笹”が誕生！
Kyoto Tanabata in Uji will reach the heavens” – make a wish on a giant bamboo that is over 10 meters tall! In honor of the 7th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar, 77 Kyoto Tanabata special bamboo lanterns, glass lanterns, and candlelight will decorate the giant bamboo, forming both wings of the floating island 13-story pagoda, and the main attraction will be Uji Prefectural Park! The details of the “Kyoto Tanabata in Uji” event will also be printed on the special fans distributed at various places in Kyoto!
